This role is available in Indianapolis, Louisville, or Cincinnati and is ideal for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys managing workflows, people, and process improvement in a hybrid environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and complianceManage and develop an accounting team, ideally overseeing 3 or more direct reportsCoordinate month‑end and year‑end close activitiesReview and approve reconciliations, journal entries, and reportsEstablish and improve accounting processes, controls, and operational efficienciesCollaborate with finance, leadership, and other internal stakeholdersSupport audits and ensure proper documentation and controls are maintainedServe as a resource for accounting policy interpretation and best practicesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required)5+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrior people management or supervisory experience, preferably with 3+ direct reportsStrong understanding of core accounting operations and internal controlsExperience improving processes and managing accounting workflowsProficiency with accounting systems and ExcelStrong communication and leadership skillsCompensation & OpportunityBase salary range of $90K–$110K, depending on experienceHybrid work model with 2 days remote per weekChoice of three major Midwest downtown office locationsLeadership role with operational ownership and team impactStable organization with long‑term growth potential#J-18808-Ljbffr
