Accounting Clerk Responsibilities

• 
  

• The Accounting Clerk will process customer invoices for long-term accounts and major retail customers.

  
  
• 
  

• Create invoices in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), including scanning pick tickets for high-volume orders.

  
  
• 
  

• Process cash receipts and assist with account reconciliations as needed.

  
  
• 
  

• Send collection emails and follow up on outstanding balances.

  
  
• 
  

• The Accounting Clerk will review customer remittances and payment details for accuracy.

  
  
• 
  

• The Accounting Clerk will use Excel to organize and analyze accounting data.

  
  
• 
  

Qualifications of the Accounting Clerk Role

• 
  

• Previous accounting, invoicing, accounts receivable, or cash application experience.

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred.

  
  
• 
  

• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, preferred.

  
  
• 
  

• Power Query experience is a plus.

  
  
• 
  

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  
  
• 
  

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
