Description

Overview:

Responsible for overseeing the accounting team to manage financial functions, including accounts payable,
bank reconciliations, cost accounting and reporting to branch leadership. Responsible for strong analytical
analysis to create/maintain detailed financial reports and forecasts to ensure the company’s financial reporting
is complete, accurate and timely.

 

Location: 6688 N. Central Expwy. Dallas, TX 75206

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accounting team compliance with established key controls and procedures.
  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities for the team.
  • Oversee monthly branch financial performance reporting to assist leaders in driving performance.
  • Oversee month-end close schedule and ensure team assignments are appropriately balanced.
  • Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
  • Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
  • As a part of the accounting leadership team, develop accounting policies and procedures, aligned with
    company’s targets.
  • Demonstrate qualifications and competencies consistently and reliably.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

• Required to have Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Preferred to have Master's Degree in accounting or finance or a certified public accountant (CPA)
designation.
• Required minimum 5 years of previous experience working in an accounting department for a multi-location
retail or healthcare company.
• Required previous experience and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Preferred previous experience in a leadership role.
• Preferred previous experience using PeopleSoft financials.
• Preferred previous experience in a home health or hospice setting.
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint, and excel.
• Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve
Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other
position objectives.
