Base Pay Range$85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yrResponsibilitiesLead the company's corporate accounts payable process, ensuring timely vendor payments, proper coding, and strong internal controls.Own key components of the month‑end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.Prepare monthly corporate financial statements and assist with consolidated reporting.Maintain corporate balance sheet schedules, including prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany activity.Monitor cash activity, support short‑term cash forecasting, and help manage banking relationships.Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for corporate departments.Recommend process improvements to streamline AP, close, and reporting workflows as the company grows.Collaborate with property‑level accounting teams to ensure accurate data flow and alignment of accounting practices.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including both transactional accounting and financial reporting.Prior experience at a real estate or property management organization strongly preferred.Solid understanding of GAAP and month‑end close processes.Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP or cloud‑based accounting systems a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with comfort working directly with senior leadership.Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.Compensation & BenefitsDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
