Reports To: Controller

About the Role

Our Client is seeking a hands-on Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and partner with their Controller. You will lead the accounting staff, manage month-end close, oversee inventory reconciliations, and support payroll, audits, and tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Team Leadership: Supervise staff, answer technical questions, and guide workflow
• 
  
• Financial Close: Prepare and review journal entries, conduct inventory counts/reconciliations, and generate month-end reports.
• 
  
• Tax & Compliance: Prepare sales & use tax returns, enforce internal controls, and maintain strict data confidentiality.
• 
  
• Process Improvement: Analyze financial options, assist with corporate accounting initiatives, and lead special projects.

Qualifications

Required:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 
  
• 2+ years of accounting experience with direct reports.
• 
  
• Proven financial reporting skills, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines.
• 
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel as needed.
• 
  

Preferred:

• 
  
• CPA/CMA license (or eligibility to sit for exams).
• 
  
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP software.
• 
  

Compensation:

• 
  
• · Base salary up to $100,000 – commensurate with extent of relevant experience
• 
  
• · Bonus of 40%
