Job Description

Pay: $60,000-$65,000

Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for payment.
Verify invoice accuracy and match invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documentation.
Enter invoices into the accounting system accurately and timely.
Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH payments, and electronic transfers.
Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
Maintain organized accounts payable files and supporting documentation.
Monitor payment due dates to avoid late fees and maintain positive vendor relationships.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Act as backup to prepare journal entries, reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate records.
Maintain documentation to support audits and financial reviews
Payroll Support
Hold leadership accountable for timely and accurate timecard submission
Review and submit payroll biweekly
Assist payroll provider with reporting, year-end reporting, and payroll issues as they arise
