Accounts Payable Clerk

Priority Personnel is hiring an Entry Level AP Processor for a company located in San Antonio, TX.

Pay rate: $15-19/hour

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/8am-5pm

Job Duties:

• Responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
• Process high-volume of invoices and verifying transaction information; schedule and prepare disbursements, and obtain authorization of payment as well as maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements as well as performs independent research to identify any discrepancies and related transactions
• Manages vendor related queries/issues and communicates with internal stakeholders
• Maintain historical records by filing documents electronically or physically
• Participate in financial audits and assisting in the resolution of audit findings

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent degree
• Prior experience in an accounts payable role can be beneficial
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP.
• Familiarity with data entry and spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel
