Accounts Payable & Dispatch Processor

Role: Accounts Payable with Dispatch experience
Location: Odessa, TX
Pay: Up to $22/hour dependent on experience
Schedule: Mon -Fri, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

We're partnering with a growing company in Odessa seeking an Accounts Payable & Dispatch Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing administrative accounting responsibilities with dispatch and logistics coordination. This position will start fully onsite for training and onboarding before transitioning to a primarily remote schedule. Once remote, team members are expected to work onsite approximately one week per month.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to schedule truck dispatches, rental bin pickups, and disposal services
- Communicate with vendors to ensure timely collections and service completion
- Process accounts payable transactions and vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation
- Utilize Oracle and internal systems to manage dispatch and AP activities
- Track and update service requests, pickups, and vendor communications
- Support the accounting and operations teams with additional administrative tasks

Qualifications
- Previous Accounts Payable experience required
- Previous Dispatch, Logistics Coordination, or Transportation Scheduling experience required
- Strong communication and vendor management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and PivotTables
- Experience working within ERP systems such as Oracle is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within waste management, disposal services, trucking, logistics, construction, or related industries
- Familiarity with vendor billing and transportation coordination
