This role as a Accounts Payable Specialist within Enterprise Services supports the organization's mission, vision and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, personalization, commitment, accountability and ownership.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Managing Accounts Payable using accounting software and other programs for multiple entities
- Ensuring bills are coded, approved, entered and paid in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensuring employee expense reimbursements are coded properly and processed for payment
- Research any vendor and employee payment discrepancies
- New vendor setup and management
- Annual 1099 preparation
- Monthly AP Accruals
- Assist accounting team as needed
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Previous relevant accounting experience (2-3 years)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Able to handle multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
- High level of organization and attention to detail with a problem-solving attitude
- Strong ability to handle confidential information discretely
