If you want to do meaningful work that reaches beyond a single location, this is where that happens.THE ROLEAt Swickard, accounts payable isn't a single-store function — it's a multi-location operation processing vendor invoices and payments across 50+ dealerships from one centralized hub. The Accounts Payable Specialist owns that process end-to-end: accurate, timely, and built to scale. This is a role for someone who moves fast, takes real ownership, and never lets a discrepancy slide.WHAT YOU'LL DOProcess vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment runs accurately and efficiently across multiple dealership locationsManage check runs, ACH payments, and electronic disbursements in accordance with company proceduresReconcile vendor statements and proactively investigate and resolve discrepanciesMonitor aging payables and elevate potential issues to maintain healthy vendor relationshipsSupport month-end close by ensuring all AP transactions are recorded accurately and on timeCollaborate with dealership managers and corporate teams on expense coding and approvalsMaintain organized digital records to support audit readiness and financial reportingIdentify opportunities to improve workflows and support automation where it drives efficiency and accuracyWHAT YOU BRINGRequiredHigh school diploma or GED1+ year of accounting experienceExperience with Reynolds & Reynolds or similar dealership management softwareStrong Excel skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and reconciliation templatesHigh attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environmentStrong organizational skills and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies proactivelyPreferred3+ years of accounting experienceExperience with dealership management systems or ERP platformsBENEFITS & PERKSMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time off and holidaysEmployee vehicle purchase and service discountsPet insuranceMental health program and benefitsClear career path — AP Specialist to Senior AP, Accounting Manager, or Controller — in a company that promotes from withinIf you thrive under deadlines and take pride in a clean ledger, you'll fit right in here.Swickard Auto Group is an equal opportunity employer.
