Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 
  
• Process and validate high-volume merchandise vendor invoices (over 500 weekly)
• 
  
• Reconcile vendor statements to AP subledger and resolve discrepancies
• 
  
• Investigate short pays, credits, and invoice variances
• 
  
• Support weekly payment runs and ACH postings
• 
  
• Assist with month-end close to ensure accurate AP balances
• 
  

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 
  
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• 
  
• Retail or multi-location preferred
• 
  
• Strong reconciliation and discrepancy resolution experience
• 
  
• Ability to manage volume with accuracy
•
