As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will process vendor invoices and payment records for the Accounting & Finance department within the Professional Services industry. You will help keep payable information accurate and ready for timely review during this temporary assignment.

Description

• Review vendor invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter invoice details into the accounts payable system with clear and accurate coding.
• Match invoices to available purchase and payment records to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and payment documentation.
• Respond to internal questions about invoice status and payment records.
• Track outstanding invoices and follow up on missing information.
• Prepare accounts payable data for scheduled payment processing.
• Help maintain accurate records for the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:

• Experience processing invoices and maintaining accounts payable records.
• Experience reviewing invoice details and resolving data discrepancies.
• Ability to enter financial information accurately and consistently.
• Experience organizing payment documentation and vendor records.
• Ability to manage multiple invoices while meeting processing deadlines.
• Clear communication skills for working with internal contacts on invoice questions.

Job Offer

• Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist assignment in NYC
• Hourly pay of $27 to $33 USD.
