Accounts Payable Supervisor

A well-established international organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee Accounts Payable operations across multiple US locations. Description

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee Accounts Payable operations across the US and lead a team responsible for delivering a high-quality, efficient AP function.

• Lead and develop a team of Accounts Payable professionals across multiple US locations.
• Rebuild and standardize Accounts Payable processes.
• Oversee weekly payment runs, supplier onboarding and payment approvals.
• Monitor team performance through key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities, reconciliations and reporting.
• Partner closely with Finance and Operational stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service levels.
• Maintain strong controls, supplier compliance and cash flow visibility across multiple entities.

Profile

For the Accounts Payable Supervisor we are seeking:

• Previous experience managing an Accounts Payable team.
• Strong Accounts Payable operational knowledge within a multi-entity environment.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable Enterprise Resource Planning system.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability and improve processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
• Confident communicator capable of engaging with senior leadership and non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience within a fast-paced, growth-oriented business environment.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable automation tools and invoice workflow systems would be advantageous.
