Job Title: Accounts Receivable Lead

Our client is seeking a proactive Accounts Receivable Lead to take ownership of the full AR function across multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured yet evolving environment and is comfortable centralizing processes, driving consistency, and improving overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle across multiple business units/locations
· Review and process customer credit applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy
· Monitor accounts receivable aging and perform collections outreach via phone and email
· Escalate delinquent accounts as needed in accordance with established timelines
· Review and validate credit approvals, ensuring adherence to internal controls and policies
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions
· Follow up on internal requests and reconcile discrepancies based on submitted documentation
· Support the implementation and optimization of cash application processes, including lockbox setup
· Centralize and streamline AR processes previously handled across multiple locations
· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer accounts and credit decisions
Qualifications
· 3+ years of accounts receivable experience, including collections and credit review
· Experience owning or leading AR processes across multiple locations or business units preferred
· Strong understanding of credit evaluation, approvals, and risk assessment
· Proven ability to manage aging reports and drive collections efforts
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
