Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities

• 
  

• The AR Specialist will process customer invoices for long-term accounts and major retail customers.

  
  
• 
  

• Create invoices in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), including scanning pick tickets for high-volume orders.

  
  
• 
  

• Process cash receipts and apply customer payments accurately.

  
  
• 
  

• The AR Specialist will review customer remittances and payment details to ensure accurate cash application.

  
  
• 
  

• Send collection emails and follow up on outstanding customer balances.

  
  
• 
  

• Assist with customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.

  
  
• 
  

• The AR Specialist will use Excel to organize and analyze accounting data.

Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Role

• 
  

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, customer invoicing, cash application, or collections.

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred.

  
  
• 
  

• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, preferred.

  
  
• 
  

• Power Query experience is a plus.

  
  
• 
  

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
