We pride ourselves on operational excellence, customer service, and building a strong team culture.Position SummaryThe Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role plays a critical part in supporting the company's cash flow and maintaining strong customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and send invoices to customers in a timely mannerMonitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on overdue paymentsPost and reconcile incoming payments (checks, ACH, credit cards)Maintain accurate customer account records and resolve billing discrepanciesCommunicate with customers regarding account status, payment terms, and collectionsWork closely with sales, service, and operations teams to ensure billing accuracyPrepare aging reports and provide regular updates to managementAssist with month-end closing and reporting activitiesEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsQualifications2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting roleStrong understanding of billing, collections, and reconciliation processesProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience in construction, service, or equipment-related industriesFamiliarity with ERP systems or time-tracking/billing platformsWork EnvironmentFully on-site position at our Houston branchCollaborative, fast-paced environmentStandard business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for growth within the companyWhy Join HTX Material Handling?Join a team that values accountability, growth, and innovation.
