We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who brings precision, professionalism, and a strong customer‑service mindset to help ensure our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential to maintaining healthy cash flow, supporting project teams, and upholding the high standards our clients expect from Workscapes.Essential Functions of the PositionGenerate and send invoices for completed flooring installationsFollow up on outstanding accounts and past‑due balancesReconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepanciesMaintain organized and accurate records of all accounts receivable transactionsCommunicate professionally with customers regarding payment inquiries and account statusPrepare aging reports and account summaries for management reviewProvide invoice details to the Account Administrator team to ensure accurate and timely posting of customer paymentsCoordinate Certificates of Insurance (COI) and subcontractor waiver requests internally and externallyOther duties as assignedSecondary Functions of the PositionOperating and leading under our core values and Guiding Principles:PassionateAdaptableDedicatedCoachableDependableAdherence to attendance and punctuality expectationsMulti‑tasking, Ability to Problem SolveWork LocationRequired to work onsite in our Tampa office 4 days per week with 1 day remote work offered after 90‑days.Required Education and Experience2+ years of A/R and/or Bookkeeping experience, preferably within the construction industryBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business AdministrationRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficiency in relevant software systems; Core and Procent experience preferredStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational skillsOutstanding communication and customer service abilities2+ years of accounts receivable or bookkeeping experience, preferably within the construction industryExperience with AIA payment applications and schedule of values is highly preferredBackground in construction, contracting, or related industries is a plusAll offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
