What you'll be doing
- Managing billing activities from project setup through invoicing
- Reviewing contracts, rates, and project documentation for accuracy
- Preparing and submitting invoices through various customer systems
- Working with project managers, accounting staff, and clients to resolve billing questions
- Maintaining organized project and billing records
- Assisting with billing reviews and ensuring deadlines are met
- Supporting ongoing process improvements within the billing function
What we're looking for
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Billing, accounts receivable, or accounting experience
- Construction or project-based billing experience is a plus
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
