ACI Concrete Field Technician

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Pay: $20–$30+/hour DOE

We are seeking an experienced and motivated ACI Concrete Field Technician to join our team in the Las Vegas area. This position is ideal for someone with construction materials testing experience who is looking for competitive pay and opportunities to work on a variety of commercial and construction projects.

Qualifications

• Current ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I certification preferred.
• Clark County certification preferred.
• Previous experience in construction materials testing or concrete testing preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete sampling, testing procedures, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document test results.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with contractors, project managers, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and sampling of fresh concrete.
• Conduct slump, air content, temperature, and unit weight testing.
• Prepare and maintain concrete test specimens in accordance with applicable standards.
• Document testing results accurately and complete required field reports.
• Communicate test results and observations with project teams.
• Ensure testing procedures comply with project specifications, ASTM standards, and applicable requirements.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
• Work on a variety of commercial and construction projects throughout the Las Vegas area.

Compensation

• $20–$30+/hour+ DOE
