Overview

R&P is looking for a Shipbuiding Acquisition / Contracts Analyst who wants to join our team supporting PMS 410. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Acquisition, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a motivated and detail-oriented analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general acquisition and contracts management support.
  • Provide analysis, tracking, and reconciliation support for shipbuilding contracts; including TIs, modifications, and CDRLs.
  • Provide administrative support in reconciliation and analysis of contractor invoices
  • Create procurement requests in the Navy''s acquisition management system in accordance with programmatic plans
  • Assists program office with providing detail-oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies.
  • Provides support on procurement policies, regulations, and procedures that result in cost savings for the Government.
  • Assist in the preparation of program/portfolio review documentation and other reoccurring meetings/briefs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s Degree
  • 5+ years relevant experience in shipbuilding program/contract management
  • Experience in DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process) and U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint environments.
  • Experience developing SES and Flag level briefs
  • Experience with DoD contracts (desired)
  • Active Secret clearance
