    Summary

    The Activity Assistant assists in the implementation of all activities programs in the dementia, long-term, and sub-acute units. In doing so, the Activity Aide may work with staff from all other departments and with volunteers. The Therapeutic Activity department provides and coordinates services and support the meet the interests of each resident. Programming focuses on enhancing the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.

    Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience in a familial, social or recreational program within the last five years.
