A leading healthcare provider is seeking anAcute Rehabilitation Physical Therapistto evaluate and treat patients of all ages, develop and modify individualized plans of care, deliver high-quality physical therapy services, serve as a clinical resource for staff and students, and promote excellence in patient care through professional practice and collaboration.
Acute Rehabilitation Physical TherapistResponsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages by performing comprehensive physical therapy assessments and developing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
- Modify treatment plans and interventions as appropriate to support patient progress, functional improvement, and optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
- Deliver physical therapy services while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and adherence to professional practice standards.
- Serve as a role model in the delivery of professional physical therapy services and provide clinical guidance and support to staff and students.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and promote effective communication throughout the rehabilitation process.
Acute Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation techniques, treatment planning, rehabilitation principles, and patient care.
Shift:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
