Responsibilities:
Be responsible for installing and supporting a broad range of Software AG (SAG) and other third-party vendor products to provide a stable technical infrastructure upon which the business depends.
Be responsible for the conversion of products between major releases.
Requirements:
Requires a strong technical background in all mainframe technologies with extensive hands on experience.
Require extensive hands on experience in an MVS operating environment as well as system utilities.
Have a high level of knowledge of all SAG products, and an ability to work with them in a highly customized environment.
Require ability to install the products, code/revise customizations using a variety of technologies (including Assembler/Cobol/CICS), and debug complex system problems (including dump reading and performance and tuning).
