Job Description Summary
Saint Leo University is currently seeking an adjunct instructor of Theology who will develop online courses in Catholic Social Teaching for the MA in Theology and the ThD in Applied Theology programs. The instructor would also teach these courses, each of which are offered typically once every 1-2 years.
Courses are developed and delivered in Canvas. Courses are typically organized into 8 two-week modules and include both synchronous (live sessions) and asynchronous (readings, assignments, discussions, activities, and recorded lectures) components.
The instructor would be responsible for developing all these components.
Applications are processed upon the receipt of all official transcripts while the posting is active.

Instructors will be considered for needs that arise in our master's or doctoral programs in theology. Those hired will be considered for graduate teaching and graduate course development as needed.

Adjuncts are assigned to specific teaching locations and report to their location administrator as it pertains to daily operations as defined in the term-by-term contractual agreement, but ultimately have responsibility to their discipline specific department chair or director and/or school dean.
Required/Minimum Qualification(s):
A terminal degree in theology from a regionally accredited institution.
