Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Encourage growth through industry connectivity
- Prepare relevant curriculum for competency-based instruction
- Maintain current program and course outlines, goals, and objectives
- Align class curriculum with industry standards
- Administer Utah State Board of Education skills tests when teaching secondary students
- Actively assist in accreditation processes
- Advise, evaluate, and record student progress
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in respective industry
- Maintain certifications, licensures, and accreditation standards for program are
- Assist with student recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts
- Create, support, and maintain an active Occupational Advisory Committee and industry partnerships
- Ensure safety and security requirements are met in the training area
- Foster a productive learning and training environment
- Encourage and exemplify professionalism and good work habits
- Request and maintain supplies and equipment inventories
- Propose required budget and purchase requests; follow purchasing guidelines
- Prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports
- Maintain inventory, equipment, and daily operations of the UBTech Café
- Develop menus, prepare and serve caterings as assigned
- Performs other related duties as assigned
This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
Work schedule is on-call, as-needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 years demonstrated relevant industry experience
- Must successfully pass criminal background check
- Valid driver's license
- Note: ServSafe Food Handler permit is required for this position and must be obtained within 30-days of hire.
