Description:
The Department of Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Houston invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty member to begin Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one section of Anatomy & Physiology lecture during the fall semester. This is a part-time, non-tenure track, appointment. It is not a promotion eligible pathway. Renewal is contingent upon performance and enrollment needs of the department. Courses will be taught at the UH-Main campus. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline awarded by July 1, 2026.
Successful candidates will demonstrate broad training, skills in contemporary pedagogy, a strong interest in teaching and a willingness to work collaboratively with their counterparts at the UH-Main campus. Experience with classroom teaching and course development are advantageous. Experience with lab course management and instruction are highly desired.
