JOB SUMMARY:
Perform the course duties and responsibilities of the adjunct position as assigned including teaching, advising, grading, preparing syllabi, preparing/administering examinations, evaluation of student achievement of nursing competencies. and other associated duties and responsibilities that may be required by the University from time to time. These duties and responsibilities must be carried out in a professional and competent manner and in accordance with the policies, practices, and timelines of the University. A successful candidate should be academically and experientially qualified to accomplish the mission, goals, and expected program and student learning outcomes. Ensure compliance with all clinical and university requirements. Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure currency with contemporary nursing practice.
This position is a non-tenure, adjunct position with quality oversight and teaching responsibilities specific to the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Teach during the academic year didactic and clinical components of the Associate of Science in Nursing courses as assigned and in accordance with standards, clinical agency requirements, and university policies and procedures. Evaluate students in both didactic and or clinical courses as assigned. Collaborate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies for congruency with university policies-ensuring any differences are justified by nursing program goals and outcomes. Ensure students are in compliance for practicums by reviewing clinical requirements in the established system (Castlebranch). Ensure to maintain all licensure, clinical and university requirements. Attend trainings and continuing education as required and provided.

Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the University.
Compensation: $500 - $1,200 per credit. Adjunct faculty pay rates vary, depending on the academic discipline and the course's credit load and level.
