The Creative Writing Program seeks applicants for the 2026-27 academic year, to teach one of our two introductory courses, CW110 Narrative in Prose. This course is taken by creative writing majors and minors, as well as by non-majors in fulfillment of the university''s general-education Creative Arts requirement.

Narrative in Prose involves "guiding students on a critical study of the elements of narrative structure and design in fiction and nonfiction, such as character development, point of view, tone, setting, plotting, and time management."
