Position Overview
This Faculty member teaches Psychology courses.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.
What you will be doing
- Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
- Evaluates and advises students
- Participates in departmental and College affairs
- Develops curricula
- Recruits students
- Serves on committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
- Masters Degree in Counseling and/or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution, or a Masters Degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate credits hours in Counseling and/or Psychology
- Possess excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with students of widely ranging skills
- Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
