General Description: William Woods University invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position to teach on-ground undergraduate courses in the technology programs at our Fulton, Missouri, campus, located at 1 University Ave, Fulton, MO 65251. This position must be filled for fall semester classes starting in August 2026. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Teach on-ground Cybersecurity and Computer Information Systems courses, including Introduction to Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Law & Ethics, Cybersecurity & Internet Architecture, Cyber Attacks and Defenses, Encryption Techniques, Social Engineering, Critical Infrastructures, Cloud Security, Cybersecurity Capstone, Cloud Computing, Database Management Systems, Networking, Project Management, Enterprise Systems, and Systems Analysis, starting in the Fall semester of 2026. In your letter of interest, please clearly mention which of the above courses you are qualified for and willing to teach. Candidates can teach up to three courses in one 16-week semester. Position Requirements: A master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a directly related discipline is required. Candidates must have at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline or closely related coursework. Knowledge of and/or demonstrated experience in using a learning management system (LMS) such as D2L. Ability to perform teaching, grading, evaluation, and administrative duties independently to fulfill the program''s goals and objectives within the department''s overall mission, the division, and the University. Typical Physical Demands: · Ability to climb several flights of stairs several times each day. · Ability to lift, push or pull up to 20 pounds. · Ability to sit or stand for long periods. · Ability to speak and read English fluently. · Ability to hear. · Ability to travel. · Must possess a valid Missouri driver's license and adhere to the WWU vehicle policy.
