The Adjunct Instructor for IMAG 302 Positioning Lab I is responsible for providing laboratory instruction and supervision to entry-level radiography students. The instructor will facilitate hands-on learning experiences focusing on radiographic positioning, equipment operation, patient care procedures, image analysis, and radiation safety principles. Students will perform simulated radiographic examinations on classmates in a controlled laboratory environment while demonstrating professional behaviors consistent with radiologic practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Current ARRT certification in Radiography [RT(R)].
Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license
Minimum of three years of recent clinical radiography experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in routine diagnostic radiographic procedures.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree or higher.
Experience teaching or precepting radiography students.
Knowledge of competency-based education and student assessment practices.
