Administrative Assistant (Excel & Construction Logistics Coordinator)

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a construction-focused company. This position is heavily Excel and data-entry based, requiring accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple schedules and job-site details efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have intermediate Excel skills, strong customer service abilities, and the professionalism to work in a fast-paced construction office environment. This role supports logistics coordination, payroll tracking, delivery scheduling, installation quotes, and communication with field employees and clients.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $19–$20 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry using pre-built Excel spreadsheets
  • Maintain and update delivery schedules for construction materials and job sites
  • Coordinate freight deliveries, including delivery sequencing and timing for multiple active projects
  • Communicate with installation crews regarding weekly schedules, job-site assignments, and delivery coordination
  • Prepare installation quotes and assist with construction-related administrative documentation
  • Track project progress and maintain organized records of active job sites
  • Assist with payroll support and employee assignment tracking
  • Provide professional customer service to clients, vendors, and internal staff
  • Support general office and administrative operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required (data entry, spreadsheet navigation, organization, filtering, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience preparing quotes or working with construction-related documents preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints/plans or willingness to learn
  • Payroll experience is a plus
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance
  • Comfortable working in a construction-office environment

This is an office-based administrative role that heavily focuses on Excel spreadsheets, data entry, scheduling coordination, and construction logistics support.
