This position performs diversified administrative duties including typing, filing, answering calls, and assisting with departmental operations.
- Provides support for daily department activities and special projects.
- Answers telephones, routes calls, responds to inquiries, and communicates information promptly.
- Maintains accurate records, develops data systems, and manages correspondence and mail.
- Monitors supplies, liaises with vendors, and recommends equipment replacements.
- Participates in meetings, committees, community outreach, and quality improvement teams.
- Handles personnel records, payroll, and support for staff training and performance management.
- Supports data entry, scheduling, meeting arrangements, and prepares reports and documents.
- Ensures confidentiality, transcribes dictation, and manages departmental statistics and financial processes.
- Minimum education includes a high school diploma with knowledge of medical terminology; 1-2 years of clerical experience preferred. Skills include transcription, software proficiency, and strong communication. The salary range is $20.57 - $36.27.
