Administrative Assistant (Contract) - Pilsen Area, Chicago, IL

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced department in the Pilsen area of Chicago. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and has strong administrative, scheduling, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and department schedules.
Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and manage follow-up action items.
Set up and support virtual meetings using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and related platforms.
Manage correspondence, memos, reports, and departmental communications.
Assist with credit card reconciliations, expense reporting, and administrative documentation.
Serve as a liaison between departments and assist with internal communications.
Coordinate office supplies, mail distribution, meeting logistics, and special events.
Maintain and update SharePoint and intranet content.
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative, executive support, or office coordination experience.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently
High attention to detail and commitment to professionalism.
Experience supporting leadership teams and coordinating meetings/events preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
