Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and clients, providing courteous and efficient assistance in person, by phone, and via email.
- Schedule patient appointments, coordinate provider calendars, and confirm follow-up visits.
- Prepare and distribute departmental communications, meeting agendas, and minutes.
- Support program activities such as workshops, support groups, and community outreach sessions by assisting with registration, materials, and logistics.
- Track data for reporting purposes, including attendance logs, client surveys, and program participation metrics.
- Assist in preparing billing and insurance documentation as needed.
- Order and maintain office supplies, educational materials, and other department resources.
- Collaborate with other hospital departments to support integrated patient care and referrals.
- Support grant documentation and reporting for nutrition education programs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or coursework in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of administrative experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or social services setting preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Compensation:
- $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
