The Packer Avenue Marine Terminal is operated by Greenwich Terminals LLC and is one of the most productive terminals in the United States.
The facility employs 12 highly productive and safe in-house labor crews and offers 19 start times which creates greater flexibility for vessel departure and arrival times. This adds up to cargo being moved faster, discharged faster, and saves distributors time and money.
Position Overview:
A fast-paced Philadelphia area stevedore and terminal operating company is seeking a highly motivated individual for a full-time Administrative Assistant position. The successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, drug-free environment. This role requires the ability to learn and understand maintenance and repair terminology while assisting with the computer input of documentation completed by Union Mechanics. The candidate will coordinate with internal Company departments and interface directly with customers.
Essential duties include data entry of repairs and estimates into Company software as well as third-party portals. The candidate must be able to perform all essential duties in a proficient and efficient manner. This is a first shift position.

- Ability to coordinate with internal departments, customers and their agents, and vendors
- Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, with the ability to learn in-house and third-party systems
- Ability to provide general assistance to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in a maritime, administrative, or supervisory role is a plus. Familiarity with terminal or stevedore operations and maintenance/repair terminology is preferred but not required - on-the-job training will be provided.
