Summary
The Receptionist will manage the office and handle duties for upper management. This individual must be efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, Internet research abilities, and effective communication skills are required. They should be resourceful, good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Provide support to upper management and supporting team
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Distribute letters, faxes, and forms
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Book travel arrangements
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- 0-1 year’s experience as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
- Solid understanding of MS Office
- High School Diploma/GED or above
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to drive to work as needed
Preferred Education and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in front desk/office reception support
- BS degree in Business Administration or related field
- Advanced aptitude with MS Office
- Available to speak, read and write in Chinese mandarin will be a plus but not necessary
Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and 401k
