Responsibilities*
This position supports the primary care segment and specifically the Briarwood Medical Group and Taubman General Medicine ACUs [50:50]. Under the supervision of the Administrative Managers-compose and edit correspondence regarding matters of a sensitive or confidential nature, represent the unit on routine administrative matters

Maintain the calendar of the Administrative Manager and Medical Director, including exercising judgment on setting priorities for the effective use of the Managers time.
Faclitate scheduling clinic meetings, creating agendas and summarizing minutes at the direction of the ACU triads
Culture Coach - Employee Survey
Filing staff paperwork in employee files
Support Regional Managers and Ambulatory Care Managers
Work closely with operational team leads and all staff regarding payroll, benefits, accruals, PTO balances, etc.
Create and maintain Resident VA schedule and monthly calendar.
Qgenda assist with tracking Attending coverage tally/totals, reporting absences as needed.
This role also supports the nursing supervisors.
Assist with building and employee access - initial and renewal requests for building (key and ID badge), system (e.g. MiChart, MLearning) and email group access.
Administrative liaison for Patient Family Advisory Council meetings.
Tuition Reimbursement - Collect required paperwork and support documents and submit PAR.
Complete Purchase Orders for Cleaning service allocations
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications*
Admin Asst Senior - at least four years of administrative assistant or related experience is necessary.
Admin Asst Intermediate- at least two years of administrative assistant or related experience is necessary.

Modes of Work

Work Schedule
Operational hours are currently M-F 7:00a-5:00p. The position requires M-F onsite.

Underfill Statement
This position may be underfilled as a Administrative Assistant Intermediate depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
