    Description

    Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Administrative Coordinator to the Department of Occupational Therapy (OT). The selected individual will provide routine administrative support such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining files; answering inquiries and obtaining information for students, visitors, faculty and staff. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

    This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.

    Summary of Duties:

    • Serve as a liaison between the department and students, faculty, staff and other university offices
    • Assist with the development, maintenance, and tracking of departmental academic schedules
    • Receive and direct telephone calls, visitors and electronic communications
    • Assist with the adjunct faculty hiring and onboarding process
    • Assist with departmental purchasing card transactions and reconciliations
    • Maintain filing system and database of current students and graduates
    • Record, archive and distribute the minutes for department meetings
    • Maintain records and manage data for department operations
    • Utilize program and profession-specific software applications
    • Supervise and provide daily guidance for student workers
    • Assist with preparing and tracking clinical contracts
    • Prepare and distribute correspondence and reports; provide other general administrative support

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor''s degree preferred
    • Three (3) years of office/clerical experience required
    • Healthcare office/clerical experience preferred
    • Active member of the church of Christ
