Job Description And DutiesThe SLT provides clerical support for Workers' Compensation Judges including the preparation and service of orders, correspondence, reports, decisions and awards. This includes reserving and completing tasks within the Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS) involving the processing of both incoming and outgoing documents. The SLT also assists the WCJ in maintaining EAMS records and assisting parties and the public with inquiries.EligibilityApplicants must be reachable on an employment list or have transfer eligibility, reinstatement eligibility, or list/LEAP eligibility. Candidates with SROA or Surplus eligibility are given priority. Candidates eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered.Working ConditionsThis position is located at: DWC Sacramento, 160 Promenade Circle, Suite 300, Sacramento, CA 95834-2962. The incumbent will work 40 hours per week in an office setting equipped with standard office equipment, with air conditioning, elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. Telework may be offered upon supervisor approval and in accordance with DIR's Telework Policy.
