As an Administrative Officer, you will perform the following duties:

  • Oversee the General Counsel budget formulation and execution. Manage the General Counsel budget to ensure all expenditures align with allocations and accounting reports remain accurate. Provide recommendations with regard to solving complex budget formulation and execution problems. nt
  • Provide expert procurement guidance to offices. Formulate General Counsel procurement policies in coordination with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Acquisition and Grants, and review and approve all General Counsel procurement action requests. nt
  • Perform a full range of organizational management functions to acquire and manage financial, staff, and physical resources. Establish internal procedures, coordinate key issues with external agencies, and provide continuous strategic expertise and support to top management. nt
  • Execute the full range of personnel management responsibilities. Plan work assignments for Budget Analysts, headquarters paralegal and administrative assistants in pursuit of office goals. Plan and review work assignments of subordinates, including establishment of priorities and ensuring the completion of work. n
