Position Description:Receptionist for the Medical Department Answer telephone calls, take messages, forward and place calls. File all paperwork from Alpha bin and pull charts as needed. Print Sedgwick emails and place in charts, delete m/l's in error status or cancelled. Sort and assist in collecting FMLA forms. Copy medical records for OGC, WC litigation request forms, and employee requests within 15 days.Provide medical charts to WC for copying per received subpoenas and maintain a log of released records and checks received immediately. Provide invoices to the controller's office for Ingalls and general office supplies. Facilitate MRI and follow-up appointments scheduling and notification. Order office clerical supplies. Copy and stock medical forms. Pull inactive files from activity in July and ship pre-employment facilities and check them off as records received on the log. Contact facilities for medical department issues, i.e., light, water, and cleaning. Maintain accession report for incoming, outgoing, and transferring of records. Verify doctor statements as needed. Call for employee taxi transport as requested. Keep office space clean and tidy.Skills Required:Front OfficeExperience Required:Previous clerical/office experience Experience with Microsoft Office programsEducation Required:High School Diploma / GED
