We are currently seeking an Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in the Bronx, New York. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population in a collaborative and supportive outpatient setting.

Work Schedule: This is a Part-time position, Monday to Friday, with 1-2 Saturdays per month.

Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure: Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license. Must be Board Certified.
Experience: Strongly preferred 1 year of experience (but still open to new grads).
Language: Must be bilingual in Bengali or have relevant experience supporting Bengali-speaking or comparable communities.
Technical Skills: Proficient in performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and utilizing electronic health records.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical judgment, empathy, patient-centered focus, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient observations.
Record and analyze patients' medical histories and symptoms.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, and contribute to existing ones.
Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Diagnose acute and chronic health issues and prescribe appropriate treatments and medications.
Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed.
Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans accordingly.
Consult with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals within the multi-specialty practice.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in electronic medical records.
