The Role: Learn, Develop, Deliver

As an Advanced Development Engineering Intern, your primary goal is to support engineering and product development activities while building practical skills and industry knowledge.

Design & Development

• Assist with product design and development projects from concept through production
• Support the creation and maintenance of engineering models, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Participate in design improvement initiatives focused on quality, performance, cost, and manufacturability
• Assist with prototype development, testing, validation, and production launch activities

Project Support & Collaboration

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and sales teams
• Support engineering projects by completing assigned tasks and technical deliverables
• Assist in analyzing and resolving design and manufacturing challenges
• Participate in project meetings and support customer and supplier communications when applicable

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Learn and apply engineering best practices, standards, and design methodologies
• Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for improvement
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
• Assist in the development of innovative products and manufacturing processes

Technical Expectations

• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and product design concepts
• Familiarity with CAD software through coursework, projects, or prior internships
• Interest in manufacturing processes, fabrication, welding, and product development
• Ability to analyze problems and develop practical solutions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment

What Were Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
• Preferred Junior or Senior standing, though all qualified candidates will be considered
• Exposure to CAD software through coursework, design projects, or extracurricular activities
• Strong academic foundation in engineering principles
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and contribute
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
