Key Responsibilities and Skills - Collaborate with multiple engineering teams. - Good organizational and leadership skills. - Ability to work with suppliers on delivery and cost of electrical components. - Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. - Ability to manage assigned resources to complete objectives on time. - Perform specification review. - Test plan development and execution. - Create product documentation and training material. - Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, NFPA79, UL508A). - Plan, manage and execute project deliverables with little oversight. - Ability to identify and communicate status and risks as appropriate to management. - Prepare and/or update reports and documentation. - Troubleshoot technical problems on new and existing products. - Identify areas for technical improvement. - Willingness to travel as required. (10%) - Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously. - Ability and willingness to mentor others. - Ability to refine or develop standards and procedures. - Ability to create complex test plans. - Understand customer operations and problems. - Promote coordination with project teams. YOU MUST HAVE - Degree in Electrical Engineering - Experience with 480vac power distribution. - Experience with 24vdc systems. - Experience with Profibus, ProfiNet, EtherCat, Ethernet. - Experience with PLC and PC based control systems. - Experience with motor control including VFDs and Servos. - Experience with schematic design. - Proficiency with: ACAD, ACAD-electrical, MS Excel, Visual Basic, Oracle. - 5-8 years of experience in material handling or other similar industrial/manufacturing automation fields.
