Job Summary
Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital and interfacility advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA Medical Director(s). The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician will be responsible for carrying out the mission of HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA and goals of assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
What qualifications you will need:
Maintains current licensure and certification as an Advanced Emergency Medical
Technician in N.C. Office of Emergency Medical Services
Maintain BCLS and PHTL/ITLS Certifications
Must have a valid driver’s license, must be 21 years old to meet Mission Health insurance
guidelines
Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800
Must attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings
Preferences:
Associated degree
Minimum 3-5 years full time experience at the AEMT level at a demanding 911 or
interfacility transport service.
