Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)Join a team that's committed to delivering exceptional prehospital care when it matters most. As an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) with Superior Mobile Health, you'll provide high-quality emergency medical care within the AEMT scope of practice while helping ensure safe, timely, and effective patient transport.This frontline role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure in dynamic environments. In addition to delivering compassionate patient care, you'll safely operate emergency vehicles, complete accurate electronic documentation, and uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance.What You'll DoProvide emergency medical assessment, treatment, and patient care within the AEMT scope of practice.Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls while safely operating ambulances in accordance with company policies and driving standards.Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritize interventions, and adapt care based on changing patient conditions.Safely package, transport, and continuously monitor patients throughout transport.Utilize medical equipment including cardiac monitors, medication administration equipment, airway devices, and other emergency response tools.Collaborate with EMTs, Paramedics, dispatch, and receiving medical facilities to ensure seamless patient care.Complete timely and accurate electronic patient care reports (ePCR) to support clinical, legal, and billing requirements.Maintain ambulance cleanliness, equipment readiness, and inventory to ensure operational preparedness.Follow all company policies, medical protocols, and safety standards.Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForRequired ExperiencePrevious experience as an EMT-B.Previous AEMT experience preferred but not required.EducationHigh school diploma or GED.Required Certifications & LicensesTexas Advanced EMT CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) CertificationValid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving recordWhat Makes You SuccessfulWe're looking for professionals who demonstrate:Clinical Judgment Under Pressure – Makes sound decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.Patient-Centered Care – Delivers compassionate, respectful care while prioritizing patient dignity and safety.Adaptability – Responds effectively to changing patient conditions and unpredictable environments.Critical Thinking – Assesses patient needs, prioritizes interventions, and solves complex clinical problems.Communication & Teamwork – Communicates clearly with patients, partners, hospitals, and fellow team members.Safety Focus – Maintains a strong commitment to patient, partner, personal, and public safety.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred, but not required.Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:Lift and carry up to 150 pounds (up to 300 pounds with assistance).Bend, stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, and navigate uneven terrain.Work in high-stress environments with flashing lights, loud noises, adverse weather, confined spaces, and varying temperatures.Work EnvironmentThis position is primarily performed in the field and requires working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Team members may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, traffic hazards, noise, and other emergency scene conditions.Scheduling includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and extended shifts based on operational needs.
