Advanced Machinist/Grinder
Our client in Hinkley OH is looking for a detail-oriented Advanced Machinist/ Grinder specializing in precision CNC grinding and machining. Reliable team player adept at running high-tech equipment, performing thorough inspections, and consistently hitting daily production targets in fast-paced job shop environments.
Hours:- 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Overtime as needed
Pay:- $18.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and feed CNC grinding and machining equipment
- Perform in-process and post-operation inspections using micrometers and gauges
- Make machine offsets to maintain required geometry and quality specifications
- Work with team members to meet production requirements and delivery schedules
- Complete packaging, cleaning, and general workstation duties as needed
- Support training and follow work instructions and quality requirements
Minimum Requirements:- Experience operating CNC grinding or CNC machining equipment
- Ability to read work instructions and use measuring tools and gauges
- Basic math skills, including comfort with decimal measurements
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to wear required safety gear, including safety glasses
- Comfortable working around water-soluble oil machining coolant
Preferred Education and Experience:- Familiarity with modern CNC machine controls
- Ability to perform tool changes, basic troubleshooting, detailed inspection, and basic setups
