Advanced Mechanical Assembler

PGS Worldwide is seeking Advanced Mechanical Assemblers in Hudson, New Hampshire for an approximately seven-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will perform detailed mechanical assembly and disassembly of subassemblies and systems using technical work instructions, hand tools, and specialized assembly techniques.

Required Skills

• At least two years of high school or trade-school education.
• Experience performing mechanical assembly or related hands-on manufacturing work.
• Ability to follow detailed process sheets and assembly instructions.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Fine motor skills for handling and positioning small components.
• Ability to perform repetitive detailed assembly tasks, including lacing and knot tying.
• Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work the required second-shift schedule.

What You'll Do

• Assemble and disassemble mechanical subassemblies and systems.
• Perform detailed assembly using standard and specialized tools.
• Install and manipulate small mechanical components.
• Follow process sheets, work instructions, and established manufacturing procedures.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments as required.
• Use lacing and other detailed fastening techniques during assembly.
• Maintain accuracy and workmanship standards throughout the production process.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Monday through Thursday
• 3:30 PM 2:00 AM
• Four 10-hour shifts

Pay

• $28.03 per hour.
