Aerospace Assembly Technician, Precision Components

A day in this role

Picture your morning at our Re:Build Cutting Dynamics site in Avon Lake, Ohio: you set up a clean, organized assembly area, verify hardware and component stock, and ready your tools. Your focus for the day is assembling aircraft-grade hardware—installing screw thread inserts, fitting rivets, driving screws and bolts, and integrating small components to precise specifications. Throughout your shift, you coordinate with your Foreman and partner with Management, Operators, and the Quality team to resolve questions and confirm conformance. Before moving on, you record results and complete all required paperwork clearly and accurately.

What you’ll tackle

• Assemble and install hardware: screw thread inserts, rivets, screws, bolts, and related components
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, components, and essential supplies for the department
• Keep the assembly area orderly and sustain assembly equipment for reliable performance
• Collaborate with Management, the Foreman, Operators, and Quality to coordinate assignments and address quality issues
• Complete all reports and documentation legibly and on time

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfort performing basic math and demonstrated inspection capability
• Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Clear communicator and effective teammate
• Strong integrity with a safety-first mindset
